Samantha is an incredible teacher with over ten years of experience. She led her first international retreat in Mexico in 2025 and came here to Costa Rica with a sold out retreat in 2026.

You can expect a blend of strong, active practices in the morning and more meditative yoga massage sessions in the evening.

Samantha's attention to detail, extensive research, and planning will make this a vacation like no other.

Vista Celestial

Together we will retreat to the coast of Costa Rica to connect to ourselves, nature, and one another.

Named for its panoramic, heavenly views of the Pacific Ocean and rain forest jungle, Vista Celestial will be our home in paradise for seven nights.

Pristine pools, yoga platforms with jungle and ocean views, lush gardens, private waterfall trails and more await your use and enjoyment on the extensive and private grounds.

The elements of our environment will influence our yoga sessions, where we will practice being grounded and stable like a mountain but fluid and dynamic like water.

Your retreat will allow you space to reflect, gain clarity on what's important to you, and feel a deeper connection to yourself and your yoga community.

8 Days, 7 Nights at a Boutique Hotel

Choose from one of fourteen breathtaking rooms at Vista Celestial with ocean and jungle views. You can book a solo room or shared rooms.
Twice Daily Yoga Practices

Our morning practices will be strong and active while our evening practices will be gentle and restorative.
Paid Entrance to Uvita Waterfall

You'll have access to an incredible waterfall on the property along with other trails to explore.
Garden to Table Cooking Instruction

The resort grows a lot of their own food and you'll be able to see the gardens AND we will have our own private cooking instruction with the head chef.
Beach Bonfire & Complimentary Happy Hour

One night during the retreat we will head down to the beach and the resort will set-up a bonfire and a happy hour bar for us!

Incredible Yoga Space with a jungle view

There are two yoga spaces to choose from where all props are provided. We will have a jungle platform and sea view platform with mats, blocks, bolsters, straps, and blankets provided.
Nourishing Meals

Enjoy all meals in Vista's open air restaurant where the meals are an immersion into the natural bounty that surrounds us, and a way of experiencing local culture and traditions.

Transportation from the airport

Transportation from the San Jose airport are all included in your rate. The resort is a 3.5 hour drive and will be arranged for you.
Once Daily group transportation from hotel to local destination

As a group we can go to the beach, excursion, farmers market, etc. and be transported once a day.

The beach is a 10 minute transport down from the mountain and the hotel provides beach chairs, umbrellas, and towels.
All taxes & fees included

No hidden fees or taxes. Even your tips at dinners are included. The only tips you may want to give are for your drivers, excursion hosts, & the hotel staff at the end (optional).

Ocean View Villa

This villa can be shared (2 people in a room).

The cost below is per person.

Double Occupancy: $3,449 per person

Shared King OR 1 King & 1 Queen Bed

Stay in a private luxury, one-bedroom villa that is are 1,000 square feet.

All feature 180-degree ocean and jungle views, private patios, and private infinity hot/cold pools that seat four.

The interior villa space has one king-sized bed; one queen-sized bed; a kitchenette / dining area with microwave and mini fridge; and luxurious indoor and outdoor lounge spaces.

Villa bathrooms are spacious and luxurious with oversize soaking tubs, a rainfall shower inside and outside, and ocean views.

Each villa can be configured with one or two beds depending on your needs.

A deposit of $500 /person is required to reserve your room. During checkout, you can make your room selection and list your roommate.

The balance due (after deposit) will be split into two payments: one on September 1st, 2026 and the other due by December 1st, 2026. Invoices will be sent one week before the dates listed above.

Garden View Villa

Each Garden View Villa has three bedrooms and you can reserve a room within the villa. You can have the room to yourself or share the bed with a family member or close friend.

Just a few steps beyond the Ocean View Villas are The Garden Villas.

The Garden Villa is over 1,200 sf and has an expansive living space, full kitchen, outdoor patio, and access to a dedicated pool.

You will have one private room with a queen bed and private bath in the villa with shared living and kitchen spaces.

The villa is nestled in beautiful tropical gardens and feature garden views.

A deposit of $500 /person is required to reserve your room. During checkout, you can make your room selection and list your roommate(s) if applicable.

The balance due (after deposit) will be split into two payments: one on September 1st, 2026 and the other due by December 1st, 2026. Invoices will be sent one week before the dates listed above.

Tour an Ocean View Villa

All meals are included in your retreat rate.

Food is a feature at Vista Celestial.

When you walk from your room through the tropical garden to the open air restaurant, there is a good chance you will see a Vista staff member picking fresh fruits that you will see on your plate only minutes later.

Eating at Vista Celestial will give you an entirely new perspective on the flavor of a pineapple or passion fruit. You can expect every meal to be delicious and nutritious.

Breakfast will be family style every morning after yoga while lunch will be a la carte. Dinner will be a surprise every night where everyone will get the same appetizer and desert but you'll have three options to choose from for your entree.

The kitchen can also accomodate any dietary restrictions or allergies.

PRICING

All prices listed are per person, USD. A non-refundable deposit of $500 pays towards the full rate and secures your spot.

To qualify for the $300 Early Bird savings, your deposit must be received by 9/1/26.

*Rates are totals paid cash/check. To pay via credit card there will be a 3% fee.

Balance Due

The balance due (after deposit) will be split into two payments: one on September 1st, 2026 and the other due by December 1st, 2026. Invoices will be sent one week before the dates listed above.

Prices increase by $300 if the deposit is not received by 9/1/26 and the balance is not paid by 1/4/27.

Rooms

If you want to sign up for a double room, but do not have a friend to travel with, Samantha can pair you with a roommate.

If we are unable to match you with another participant, you will need to upgrade to a private room at a 50% reduction of the cost increase for the price of a single occupancy room, thus securing a single occupancy room at a price point halfway between a single and a double room.

WHAT IS NOT INCLUDED?

✈️ Airfare is NOT included in your rate, but transportation from the San Jose (SJO) airport to the resort is included as long as you arrive in SJO before 1 PM on Saturday, March 13th 2027.

You can find direct flights to San Jose (SJO) leaving Charlotte (CLT) and Raleigh (RDU).

It is a 4 hour flight from CLT to SJO.

🍷 Alcoholic beverages are not included, but will be available (prices range from $6 to $20).

💆‍♀️ Massages and other spa services are not included but are available at the resort and can be scheduled by the facitlly.

🌊 Excursions are not included, but we will have one full day during the retreat to lounge at the resort or go on the excursion of your choice or with a small group. You can find the list of excursions and prices here.

⭐️ Travel insurance is not included, but I highly recommend you purchase a Cancel For Any Reason (CFAR) policy within 14 days of purchasing your retreat deposit. Without insurance, your trip and deposit are non-refundable, but the travel insurance could refund you if you can not attend.

THE LOCATION & GETTING TO THE RESORT

To get to the resort, we have a 3.5-hour scenic drive from the airport that will be pre-arranged for you. You'll need to arrive at the SJO airport no later than 1 PM and we will leave the resort at 7 AM on Saturday, March 20th.

OTHER THINGS TO KNOW

Currency, outlets, other notes

WhatsApp: please download before leaving the US for smooth communication while in CR
Cash & Currency: USD are accepted almost everywhere in CR. Note that if you pay cash for something in dollars, you may receive a change in Colones (exchange rate is around 500 colones / USD). We recommend bringing some cash for tips (drivers, tour guides, etc). If you would like to leave a tip for the Vista Celestial team, you may add that to your bill at the end of your stay and pay via credit card; you do not need to cash at each occasion.
Paying for extra items: You will not be presented a bill every time you purchase something (i.e. tours, spa treatments or cocktails). Everything will be added to your guest account to be paid at the end of your stay at checkout. You may view your account at any time and pay as you go, if you wish.
Outlets are the same as in the US. No adapters are needed.
Gratuities: The Vista Celestial team is fairly compensated with a living wage and loves what they do! Gratuities are not required. If you are impressed by the experience and would like to leave a tip for the Vista Celestial team, you may add that to your bill at the end of your stay and pay via credit card (100% is paid to the team, no credit card processing fees are deducted from the amount they receive).

WHAT IF I WANT A SHARED ROOM BUT DON'T HAVE A ROOMMATE?

If you do not indicate a roommate when you register for a double or quad room, you will automatically be paired in a room of the same gender.
